Steve Michlig

Steve Michlig recently retired after serving as an Oneida County Assistant Attorney for 27 years. He graduated from Wausau East High School and received his B.A. and J.D. from UW-Madison.

He has been active in a variety of youth activities including past president of Rhinelander Area Youth Futures, Rhinelander Babe Ruth Association, and the Blue Line Club. Along with serving on the boards of Rhinelander Little League and the Rhinelander Ice Association.

He currently serves on the board of Head Start and is a member of Kiwanis, the Wisconsin State Bar Association, and the Vilas-Forest-Oneida County Bar Association of which he is a past president.

Steve keeps busy stocking shelves at the food pantry, running the noon-time hockey league and officiating high school and youth sports. He and his wife Kris have raised three sons.
