The Rhinelander Community Foundation (RCF) will be accepting grant applications from qualified organizations serving the Rhinelander area for its 2024 annual grant cycle. Applications can be submitted February 1-29 and can be found here: Grant Application.
In 2023, RCF was fortunate to be able to award $101,890 to local organizations doing important works in the Rhinelander area and looks forward to the opportunity to support progress in the Rhinelander area again in 2024.
The grant cycle is made possible through the Rhinelander Community Permanent Endowment Fund as well as non-endowed funds that have been supported by donors from our area extending across the country. For the past 7 years, donations of any size have been pooled together to make grants possible for current needs and invested for those unknown needs of tomorrow. By opening an annual application cycle each year, RCF is able to respond to the changing needs of our area and encourage continued positive momentum by providing financial grants for impactful projects and programming. RCF’s intent is to support our area in the present time, to prepare for future issues and encourage innovative ideas, made possible by the generosity of donors.
Qualified organizations that may apply are:
- Charitable organizations classified as 501(c)(3) under the Internal Revenue Code
- Local units of state or national charitable organizations
- Schools, hospitals, governmental units and religious institutions providing programs benefitting the public at large.
Further instructions and guidance on what grants may and may not support can be found in the grant application and guidelines.
Grant applications will be evaluated on 6 factors: alignment with RCF’s mission, community impact, visibility, population served, need and financial management.
RCF’s mission is to facilitate charitable giving and, together with our donors, enhance the quality of living in the Rhinelander community now and for future generations. RCF envisions the Rhinelander area realizing its full potential through philanthropy.
