The Rhinelander Community Foundation is pleased to announce the establishment of the Taylor – Rhinelander Centennial Fund. The endowed fund’s purpose is to finance a celebration of Rhinelander’s 150th anniversary in 2032 and every 50 years thereafter. The Taylor – Rhinelander Centennial Fund was established by Fran and Brad Taylor. Brad was born and raised in Rhinelander and graduated from Rhinelander Union High School in 1964. The fund name honors Brad’s parents, Doug and Dorothy Taylor. Doug was the chairman of the Rhinelander Centennial celebration in 1982. Brad’s great grandfather, Arthur Taylor, founded a water and soft drink business in 1891, including Coca-Cola around 1900, and the Taylor family operated the business for nearly 100 years. In addition, the Taylors also initiated the Taylor-RCF Support Fund, an endowed fund for RCF administrative expenses for organizational sustainability.

The Rhinelander Community Foundation thanks the Taylors for this forward-thinking gift to our city.
