Rhinelander Community Foundation to open 2020 grant application process in February

The Rhinelander Community Foundation will soon be accepting grant applications from qualified organizations serving the Rhinelander area for its second annual 2020 competitive grant cycle.

Applications can be submitted from Feb. 1-29 and can be found online under the non-profit tab at, RCF officials explained in a press release.

“In 2019, RCF was fortunate to be able to award 11 local organizations doing important works in the Rhinelander area over $22,000 through the competitive grant application cycle and looks forward to the opportunity to support progress in the Rhinelander area again in 2020,” the release states.

The grant cycle is made possible through the Rhinelander Community Permanent Endowment Fund as well as non-endowed funds that have been supported by area donors, the release states.

“For the past four years, donations of any size have been pooled together to make grants possible for current needs and invested for those unknown needs of tomorrow,” the release states. “By opening an annual application cycle each year, RCF is able to respond to timely needs of our area, providing financial grants for impactful projects and programming into perpetuity. RCF’s intent is to support present area needs and to prepare for future issues and encourage innovative ideas thanks to the generosity of donors. ”

Qualified organizations that may apply for a grant are:
