2021

Rhinelander District Library – $1,000 – Story Stroll at Hodag Park
Art Start – $2,437 – Agency Fund
Oneida County Humane Society – $1,000 – Rhinelander Animal Shelter support
Lights of the Northwoods – $1,525 – Holiday lights display
Northwoods Garden – $4,300 – ADA accessibility, a joint venture with Nicolet College and ArtStart in which 48 10’x20’ plots, training and demonstration are provided to interested residents aiming to grow their own healthy, organic produce
Rhinelander Area Food Pantry – $2,500 – Community garden and greenhouse upgrades and the GROW pilot program with two-fold goals of maximizing the amount of produce provided to pantry customers as well as providing tools and support for growing produce at home
Lights of the Northwoods – $2,500 – Holiday lighting display supplies and materials
Rhinelander District Library – $2,500 – Upgrading local plats, repairing historical materials, and providing needed shelving to house and conveniently locate the materials
Personal Essentials Pantry – $1,000 – Purchases of paper products for distribution to area households in need
Northern Alliance for Mental Illness for Northern Lakes Center – $2,000 – Aimed at reducing isolation and mental health crises while increasing community involvement
Rhinelander Police Dept – $1,000 – Recovery coach program recently initiated, providing valuable, non-clinical guidance to achieve and maintain recovery from a substance use disorder
Hodag Soccer Club – $1,000 – Soccer training equipment specific for artificial turf use
Rhinelander Girl Scouts troops – $2,000 – Programming, supplies and camp access as part of the Girls Scout Leadership Experience
YMCA of the Northwoods – $1,500 – Seed money for 6th grade access program providing all 6th graders a free membership to the Y, giving them safe, engaging surroundings while encouraging community service engagement
Habitat for Humanity – $1,000 – Should a home build in the Rhinelander area go forward
WXPR/White Pines Broadcasting – $2,000 – Community podcast initiative
Rhinelander District Library – $250 – Building fund/Unsung Difference Maker
Hodag Little League – $1,000 – 12U State Tournament
Badger Boys State – $400 – RHS student sponsor for Badger Boys State
