The Rhinelander Community Foundation Seeks Nominations for “Unsung Difference Maker”

Do you know someone who quietly and unselfishly gives to the community? This is a person who makes a significant impact in Rhinelander but seeks nor receives recognition or reward for their contribution? The Rhinelander Community Foundation (RCF) is looking to pay tribute to these unsung heroes.

“There are members of volunteer organizations that never seek recognition but deserve it. Some truly take ownership of their organization and treat it almost like a full-time job.” according to RCF Board member Steve Michlig.

RCF wants to emphasize that all contributions to voluntary organizations are important and should be recognized.

If you would like to recognize an Unsung Difference Maker, please go to to complete your nomination. Nominations will be open until March 31, 2021.

Those area volunteers nominated by their fellow community members will be recognized on RCF’s social media outlets and website. One name from the nominee pool will be drawn and will have the opportunity to recommend a $250 grant to an area nonprofit organization of choice.
